LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Erin Auster
As a certified Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) therapist, I specialize in working with perinatal & postpartum mood disorders, infertility, IVF, and loss. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and work with parenting and marriage challenges.
A message from Erin
You deserve a space to put yourself first. Therapy can be this space. Going through the motions of living a life is not the same as actually living.
Making time for yourself in therapy is a much needed pause in the daily grind, particularly if you find yourself always trying to take action in an effort to “fix” whatever you have been struggling with.
Together we will reflect on and understand what is and is not working.
What is driving your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors? How can you build resilience and have more self compassion?
There will be practical skill-building and developing new coping skills. Therapy is a great way to invest in yourself and you are worth it.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I use a strengths-based perspective and rely heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy frameworks. This means we'll identify the strengths you have inherently, and lean into those as you work toward achieving your desired goals while also learning to accept what we cannot control and reframing how we think about things.
I offer a warm and curious approach while creating a nonjudgmental space where you can show up just as you are - with all of your quirks, imperfections, and sometimes irrational thoughts. You can expect my active presence: listening, empathizing, and challenging you (I promise I will do so gently and with some humor). I am committed to holding you accountable and working together as a team to get you back into living the life you want.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that supports healing from painful and overwhelming experiences. Whether you’re navigating the deeply intense pain of miscarriage or infant loss, working through the impact of divorce, or carrying wounds from childhood trauma, EMDR helps the brain process these memories in a way that feels less heavy and more manageable.
I gently integrate EMDR into traditional talk therapy or offers it as a short-term, focused option—always personalized to meet you where you are and support your unique needs and goals.
